The Tamils have finally fallen, their last stronghold gone
They pounded with bombs and jets, airborne
The Sri Lankan Army came from both sides, squeezing them in between
They had nowhere to run, this was truly unseen

The Sea Tigers’ leaders, were also captured
Their naval capability, is now totally raptured
Their Indian-backed Navy, was stronger than the Sri Lankan one
But see how time goes by, and how things are undone

Only a small piece of land is left, for the Army to take
This was their campaign, to build the country and make
Peace, once and for all, in their beloved land
It was India that supported this terrorism, behind the Tigers it was her hand

This was bound to happen, how can one stand this
So much bloodshed and fear, their homes they must miss
The American army, cannot handle Iraq no more
They have to find the way out, the exit door

These soldiers were frustrated, yes they were
But remember it isn’t really their fault, sir
Just now, one soldier killed five of his friends
It might be hard to understand, let us take out our analytical lens

Being in a country, where anything can happen, anytime
You are not clear about your enemy, it’s not like lemon or lime
Streets blow up without warning, people with no uniform kill
They can train all they want, but for this there is no drill

They should bring all these people back
They should put everyone, in a sack
These soldiers are also humans, they can’t take it no more
They should be safe, even if America doesn’t get a ‘score’

(Yesterdays Poem was about…..How Californians are experiencing what people in Iraq nd Afghanistan are experiencing, i.e. indiscriminate desturction of their homes, and although this has happened before, it seems that the government is unable to take any precautions against such measure)

Fire in California!!

It is nothing to smile about, but it does give them a taste
We saw the Californians, run in haste
The Americans have been destroying the world since years
They would also know how it feels, when on cheeks flow tears

People just sat in their homes, when all hell broke loose
For some unfortunate people, running was of no use
Houses caught fire, firefighhters burned, what was their fault?
But fire doesn’t discriminate, it was a natural assault

Everyone will probably help, there is no doubt about that
But were the authorities late, were they late to combat
Why does this keep on happening, isn’t their any solution
California might need a, resedential revolution!!!

Activism makes M&S equate large and small bra prices

I have heard many strange stories, but what is this
I have to say there was definitely something I did miss
Go to M&S and you will see exactly what I mean
You can get a large bra for the price of a smaller one, that’s surely unseen!!

There actually was actually activism to get this done
Paying more for bigger bras, was obviously no fun
It was unfair to them, let me be honest, I am totally lost
Wasn’t M&S simply however, charging for higher cost

This might encourage more cheap activism, of the sort
Bigger people might also want goods cheaply, will they go to court?
I have no idea why someone would make an issue out of size
It is exactly such useless activism that I despise

The Taliban are there in Afghanistan, creating trouble for the Allies
But some of the Allied decisions, are far from being wise
They just now bombed the Taliban, and got 25-30 of them
At the same time however, civilians were killed, I condemn

About a 70 died, what the Americans call collateral damage, how cruel
It is these Afghan people, that they expect to rule
When will they understand that their billions in weapons is useless
It requires an agile mind to figure out, how to get out of the mess

This isn’t the first time it has happened, they do it all the time
No one really cares who dies, isn’t that a crime
The time has come for everyone to finally take a stand
Otherwise, in a way, in these killings, we all will have a hand

All the effort is finally paying off
The Tamil Tigers are in a stand off
They have lost much of their territory
I must say, none of us are sorry

The terrorist group that was such a disease
It claimed to fight for Tamil rights, Oh please
It was done for nothing but power and greed
Their leader is a terrorist, it has been agreed

This guy, their leader, has now been trapped
His whereabouts, have long been mapped
No matter how much they shout and scream, it will not help
Infact we really want to, finally hear these terrosists yelp

They said Swine flu could be bad, it has the potential to go out of control
It could have become a hazard, and would have needed military patrol
But look what the experts are saying now, not the journalists, you see
They say it will not be worse than usual flow, I am not saying it, it wasn’t me

The media likes to play with fear, it makes them good money
Although WHO says, that pandemic is imminent, isn’t it just funny
Ofcourse they have to stay careful, they will take no chances
But all it’s really about, is the media finances

But the truth is out there, no one believes them no more
It is a problem that is easy to handle, that is for sure
We have finally understood, how the media plays on our fears
The only problem in the world is that, the journalists will now shed tears

I knew that it happened, with even the strongest
No matter how much you hide, even for the longest
America has poverty, and homelessness, I’ am sure
The world’s strongest country, isn’t a place for dreams no more

Even before the ‘crunch’, 3.5 million were likely to have no homes
To figure out the reason, you don’t have to be no Sherlock Holmes
It is a capitalist economy, nothing is for free
On top of that they need alot of money, to fight a war, seems to be a decree

The government can spend so much on fighting for no reason
They themselves let Americans live in poverty, isn’t that treason
When will someone think about America’s poor
A time will come when they will look, for an open foreign door

Crash into Dutch Crowd [at Queen's Birthday Parade]

People were lined to see royalty, nothing but a show
Waving to the crowd, moving all so slow
The Dutch Queen Beatrix, had very Happy Birthday
But unfortunately for many people, it was their time to lay

The driver, drove his car into the crowd
At first there seemed to be no reason, it just made a sound so loud
It was later discoverd to be a secuirty guard, who just lost his job
What should he have done?, maybe join a mob

This is what happens, when governments fail to act
People sometimes do wanna kill, and that is a fact
There is obviously no justification to kill someone, no doubt
But one can understand his emotions, and why he took the route

People must understand that everyone wants to live
Poverty and misery create criminals, for how long can one just give
The government needs to take solid steps, just a little more
Seven people have already died [including himself], we can’t take no more gore

The bigger they are, the harder they fall
This News is no small
Chrysler, the car maker, is going bankrupt today
This isn’t good news for all

Its lenders didn’t want to write off debt
All the liabilities it had, how could it have met
It has to go into surgical bankruptcy for a short time
This is new scheme is really prime

Chrysler’s assets, will be bought by choice, by an Italian firm
It is the company Fiat, that is what I can confirm
Is this now, the end of the giant American carmakers?
Fiat was here right now, but for others, will there even be any takers?
