Just before the credit crunch and the recession
The whole world seemed to be rich, in it there is a lesson
Do not equate your present to your future
Life and world, isn’t a suture

Look at China now, effected by the developed world’s greed
It was the growth engine of the world, the place to succeed
But just like the rest of the world it is also having trouble
But if we look closely at the China, they never had a similar bubble

The growth was far more managed and far less risky
They could have grown the country very quickly, brisky
The growth is still far ahead of any developed nation
Even though it has slowed down, we all can’t help but stare in admiration

After the recession is over, it’s growth would go even higher
While the world lost the year, China is what everyone will desire
A place of oppurtunity, a true power house
The giant will rule the world, what used to be a mouse

(Yesterdays Poem was about…..How Inida’s elections have started but have been marked by blood due to Maoist attacks, who demand equality. Therefore one has to differ is the world’s largest democracy, really democracy?? when their own people consider it to be biased)

Hey look everyone!, an annocement by the Federal Reserve
Wait a second, let us listen and observe
The economy is still in recession by the way
Something for which we all had to pay

From the data it seems, the depth of the recession is decreasing
The pressure on all of us is easing
We are not out of the depression however, there is still some more time
Certainly still not a time to lay back and drink lime

Only a small wait left now it seems
Until America once again, beams
With prosperity and joy, for all
Once again, lying on the beach and shopping at the malls

But wait a second, what about the future
For the world economy these are a regular feature
The Anglo-Saxon model of finance has to do alot with it
Will this happen again?, and face another deep dark pit?

(Yesterdays Poem was about…..How a Phillipino couple who had been entered Japan illegally were being deported and their daughter chose to stay behind. The media protrayed it as the rigid Japanese system splitting a family, while it is obvious that the couple themselves are to blame for their crime)
